A neurosurgeon with a depth of experience in the operating room and beyond

Based in Austin since 2003, Dr. Stanley Kim has led the way with endovascular treatments for a variety of neurological issues. Well-regarded by his peers in Austin and beyond, Dr. Kim has pushed the field to innovate and pioneer techniques that make it easier to keep patients healthy. In 2004, he developed a comprehensive plan for acute stroke treatment at St. David’s Medical Center. In the years since, Dr. Kim has treated hundreds of patients from across Central Texas, taking a professional and experienced approach to highly complex techniques.

Dr. Kim was honored to serve as 2018-2019 President of the Texas Association of Neurological Surgeons (TANS) and has represented Texas neurosurgeons at the national level. He is passionate about sharing his research findings and regularly presents his work at the annual meetings of The International Stroke Conference, The Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and The American Association of Neurological Surgeons.
